A: Our 115 unit -apartment community, set on 7 acres, is located in a residential neighborhood, on North Ford Street, just off of State Highway 93 in Golden.
Our location is convenient to shopping, medical services, churches, and just blocks from historic downtown Golden.

The two and three story buildings feature architecture that represents the best of Colorado living, and offer several rental apartment floor plans.
Those desiring independent living or requiring assisted living will be accommodated. The community features beautiful landscaping with ponds, watercourses and territorial mountain views.

The Historic City of Golden is nestled in a valley 15 miles west of Denver at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The community is served by five major highways including Interstate 70, Colorado 470, US Highway 6, and State Highway 93, which provide a direct route to Denver, Boulder and neighboring foothills communities. Our population of 17,000 gives us the quality of life that you would expect in a small town with easy access to the services, amenities, events, and opportunities found in the Denver metro area .
Historic Golden was made Colorado 's Territorial Capitol in 1862 and is home to The Colorado School of Mines, Coors brewing, the Colorado Railroad Museum, and many other recreational, cultural, and historical landmarks.
While its residents enjoy all of the amenities and services of modern life, you might say Golden is just 15 miles west and 100 years from Denver.

Q: What sort of apartments
and amenities will be available?
A:
Golden Pond Apartments feature one and
two bedroom apartments with full kitchens, washers and dryers, individually
controlled heating and cooling generous closet and storage space, 24 emergency
call system.
Golden Pond Assisted Living features studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom
apartments each with a kitchenette, private bath, individually controlled heating
and cooling, 24 hour emergency call system.
All residents have access to the community center as well as planned
activities, transportation and amenities such as dining, beauty and barber
salon, library, computer center, activity and recreation rooms, fitness center,
theater, cable TV, and greenhouse areas.

Q: What if my health
changes and I need personal assistance?
A: Golden Pond Assisted Living can accommodate residents
requiring personal care assistance which may include medication monitoring,
grooming and bathing assistance, ‘round-the-clock well-being monitoring, personal
laundry, and stand-by or hands-on assistance with one or more of the activities
of daily living. Basic services in assisted living include a 24-hour staffing
and emergency response system, three meals per day, weekly housekeeping and
linen service, planned activities and scheduled transportation. For more information,

Q: What are Golden Ponds rates, lease terms and financial arrangements ?
A: Golden Pond Senior Apartments is a rental retirement community. All apartments are rented under a one year
rental agreement, but you have the right to cancel at anytime with a 30 day notice. We require first and last months rent upon lease commencement.
A: Golden Pond Assisted Living and Meadows memory care units are leased month to month, you have the right to cancel with a 15 or 30 day notice depending on your circumstances. We require first and last months rent upon lease commencement.

Q: Sounds Great! How do I sign up?
A. Simply stop by our Marketing office at 1270 North Ford Street in Golden for a presentation of the community, availability, select your apartment style and make a fully refundable reservation deposit of $2,000.
This secures your placement on our wait list. If for any reason you do not move in to Golden Pond, your deposit will be promptly refunded.
We do not require any large up front investment, endowment, buy-in, or entrance fees.
