Education and Communication
Making the decision to move your loved one into a specialized care community can be stressful. At Golden Pond we will educate you and keep you updated on how your family member is enjoying life through many different resources.

Specially Trained Staff
Golden Pond associates are gentle, friendly people who have chosen to care for residents with memory impairments. Each associate participates in a nationally recognized continuing education program. This program teaches the associates the best way to assess and care for each resident mentally, physically and emotionally. The program includes specific training on the disease process, communication tools, lifestyle normalization, restorative care and therapeutic activities.

Specially Designed Wellness Programs
Our programs are tailored to incorporate each resident's unique life experiences and preferences. This customization enhances the resident's sense of comfort and well-being. A daily activity schedule is created for each resident to guide the day-to-day living. Activities incorporate life skills which help daily functioning and stimulate the mind.

Some highlights
- We have limited our maximum occupancy of the Meadows to fifteen residents. This ensures the residents remain comfortable and staff can remain focused on the individuals needs.

- Our community design is a safe, comfortable environment which features uniquely designed life enrichment areas for the residents. The community includes small, safe life enrichment rooms such as a bakery kitchen, nursery, office setting and an old-fashioned dressing room. Natural light promotes a feeling of well-being and helps residents orient to day and night. Outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped areas used for gardening, bird watching and exercising.

- All meals are provided within the safe environment of the Meadows own dining room.

- Planned outings from the Meadows occur from time to time with staff present.
